After Care Program
We are happy to provide extended care services to our families. The program can accommodate students in PreK through sixth grade. Please note the following procedures and regulations. Extended care is a privilege and your cooperation is required and appreciated in facilitating this service. Hours of Operation: Cost: 2:45 P.M.-5:30 P.M. $50.00 per month per child for 10 months, or $5.00 per day, per child (drop in only) August, December, and May payments are not prorated.
Students will report to After Care at 2:45 and check in with the duty teacher. Any child remaining in car line at 3:10 will be sent to After Care. Students cannot be picked up before 3:15. Children left in After Care after 5:30 P.M. will be charged $1.00 per minute per child. Consistently tardy parents may be asked to make other arrangements for their child’s after school care. There will be no After Care on early dismissal days. We ask that the attached registration form be filled out by each family and sent in immediately. You may send it to your child’s teacher or to the office. For children paying monthly, payments are due on the first of each month and will be delinquent after the fifth day of the month. Payments should be mailed to the office or sent to the teacher. After Care personnel cannot accept cash. On all payments, please include the child’s name, grade, and the month/date that your payment should be applied. Parents will have the option to bank draft monthly payments. There will be a $25.00 late fee for accounts that are past due. Once your account becomes forty-five days delinquent termination of services may occur. Drop in payments are due the day of service. Send payment to your child's teacher in a labeled the envelope. (Include name, date, and grade on the envelope). If your child's attendance status changes during the year, please notify me by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Snacks will be sold daily. Each item is 50¢. We will no longer be able to hold snack money for students. Please put your child's money in a zip loc bag in his/her backpack. All school behavior expectations are enforced at aftercare. Failure to behave appropriately will result in disciplinary action or termination of services by the administration. The After Care Program is intended to serve the needs of the Oak Forest Academy family. Please help us meet that goal by cooperating with all regulations.
